Common questions
Does 2broke require an account?
No. There's no sign-up, no login. Everything works immediately after install.
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device. 2broke doesn't have a server and never uploads your budget or expenses anywhere.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. There's nothing stored elsewhere to delete.
Privacy Policy
2broke ("the app", "we", "our") is a daily budget tracking app. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: we don't collect anything, because we can't — there's no server.
1. Information we collect
None. 2broke does not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal information, budget data, or expense entries. The app has no backend server and makes no network requests to send your data anywhere.
2. Where your data lives
All information you enter — your daily budget, expenses, categories, savings goals, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults, shared via an App Group so the home screen widget can display it). This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not visible to us, the developer, or any third party
- Is included in your device's iCloud backup only if you have iCloud device backups enabled in iOS — this is Apple's system-level backup, not something 2broke controls or accesses
- Is permanently deleted the moment you uninstall the app
3. Notifications
If you enable reminder notifications, they are scheduled entirely on your device using Apple's local notification system. No notification content or scheduling data is sent to us or any external service.
4. Third parties, ads, and tracking
2broke contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, and no data-sharing agreements with any third party. We do not know who uses the app, how often, or how.
5. Children's privacy
2broke is designed to be useful for students, including those under 18. Because the app collects no data of any kind, from any user, there is no personal data collected from children either. If you are a parent or guardian with questions, contact us using the details above.
6. Your rights
Since no data is collected or stored outside your device, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on request — you have full and exclusive control over your data at all times through the app itself and your device settings.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.

Terms of Use
By downloading or using 2broke, you agree to the following terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What 2broke is
2broke is a personal budgeting tool that helps you track a daily spending limit, log expenses, and optionally set savings goals. It is a productivity and organization tool for your own personal use.
2. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for any decisions you make based on it. 2broke calculates figures based only on what you type in — it has no way to verify amounts, bank balances, or actual spending, and accepts no responsibility for the consequences of inaccurate entries, missed entries, or decisions made using the app.
3. No warranty
2broke is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free or always available.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of 2broke shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, savings, or financial outcome, arising from your use or inability to use the app.
5. Intellectual property
The 2broke name, logo, and app design are the property of the developer. You're welcome to use the app for personal purposes; you may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute it.
6. Changes to the app or these terms
Features may be added, changed, or removed over time. These terms may be updated; continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
7. Termination
You may stop using 2broke at any time simply by deleting the app. We may discontinue the app at our discretion.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
